Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten!

The St. Philip Kindergarten program is an excellent choice for your child as he/she begins his/her educational career. Our Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Allison Folz, has the knowledge and experience to make sure your child has a successful first year and beyond at St. Philip. Our Kindergarten students begin and end the day with our 1st-8th grade students and the day lasts from 7:30am - 2:30pm. The students have lunch and recess with the students in grades one and two and they attend classes such as art, PE, music, and technology each week.

Parents of all children who are interested in St. Philip Catholic School and whose children will be 5 on or before August 1st are welcome to learn about our program. For more information, please contact Ms. Allison Folz at amfolz@evdio.org or Mrs. Gayle Ritzert at 812-985-2447 or gritzert@evdio.org.

Below are Kindergarten Readiness forms for incoming kindergarten students.  Please review this information as it includes items that were not available during Pre-K (i.e., school bus availability, tuition assistance, and dress code policy.)  Specifically, take time to review our kindergarten assessment plan and how that applies to your child.

Review the dress code, handbook, and other useful documents here.

View tuition assistance information on our Admissions page.
