Teacher: Mr. Johnson!
Seventh grade is the last stop before becoming the 8th grade leaders. It is a time for the students to start really spreading their wings and preparing for high school. The students have seven classes each day and transition from room to room. Each student takes Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Religion on a daily basis. They are also enrolled in Art, Music, PE, Health, and Technology classes on a weekly basis. Some of the highlights of 7th grade include be invited to the west deanery dances throughout the year, enjoying Catholic Schools' Week activities and the theme days that take place, visiting Marengo Cave, and competing against the 8th graders at the annual end-of-the-year softball and cornhole tournament. It is fun to watch the seventh graders blossom throughout the year and prepare to take the place of the 8th graders.
